On 9 March 1908, the day of Internazionale's founding, member Giorgio Muggiani said: "This wonderful night bestows us with the colours of our crest: black and blue against a gilded backdrop of stars. It shall be called International, because we are brothers of the world."
And so was born one of football's greatest clubs, a team that has shaped and defined the game as we know it. From the early exploits of immortal icons like Giuseppe Meazza, through to Helenio Herrera and the Grande Inter years, the club has come to define the very meaning of excellence. It has been a showcase of football from across the world, paying homage to Muggiani's famous quote - a meeting place of greats.
